With balsamic strawberries, burrata cheese and a delicious dressing, this truly is the most incredible recipe for strawberry spinach salad.
While the average strawberry spinach salad recipe will call for feta cheese or goat cheese, this one uses burrata cheese with a special strawberry balsamic glaze drizzled over the burrata and mixed with the strawberries.
The combination of the sweet strawberries with the tangy balsamic dressing and the creamy burrata cheese is SO GOOD! There is nothing quite like a summer salad with fresh ingredients. Of course this is best enjoyed during the warmer months of strawberry season so you have fresh, sweet berries to use. However if you freeze some fresh strawberries you can enjoy this colorful salad any time of the year.
An extra special ingredient that makes this recipe top notch is Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar from F.Oliver’s. If you have a local olive oil and vinegar shop, you might be able to find this ingredient locally. If not, you can order it online at F.Oliver’s here.
There are a lot of delicious strawberry spinach salad recipes out there but I’m telling you – they don’t compare to this one.

What is Burrata?
Burrata is a soft cow’s milk cheese that is formed into a ball. It has an outer layer of fresh mozzarella and an inside that is filled with fresh curd and rich, thick cream. It has a rich, buttery, creamy taste that is so fresh.
The texture of Burrata is slightly firm, yet silky smooth on the outside, with an inside that is filled with soft, delicate, creamy fresh curd-like cheese.
I mean, what is not to love here? Burrata is a cheese lover’s dream.
Where can I buy Burrata?
You may be able to buy burrata in your local grocery store – it will be in the speciality cheese section of the store. You can also purchase it at a specialty cheese shop. My recommendation is to order it online from Pierre Cheese Market.
Pierre Cheese Market has one simple mission – to share the finest artisanal cheese products with their customers. Their cheeses are the mark of high quality, great taste and craftsmanship in fresh cheeses.
What to Serve With Strawberry Spinach Salad
I recommend serving this colorful salad with a crusty bread and a high quality dipping oil. The best wine pairing is a cold, crisp Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region of New Zealand.
This spinach strawberry salad makes the perfect side dish or light lunch. It can be served as a main course if you add some grilled sliced chicken breasts to it. This beautiful salad is perfect for a special occasion or a dinner party.
This is such an easy spinach salad. The burrata, basil and strawberry balsamic vinegar are delicious additions. Add in a few simple ingredients and this summery strawberry spinach salad is YUMMMMMY!!!
Leftovers can be stored in a glass airtight container but I recommend storing the balsamic juicy strawberries and the spinach and burrata all in separate containers.
